Mac-Tire Supports Students of All Ages and Backgrounds

Every Tuesday evening practice runs on the following schedule:

Students from 7:00 PM - 7:45 PM
Band (chanter/bagpipes) 7:45 PM - 9:00 PM
Social Hour (optional) 9:00 PM on!

Lessons are taught either individually or in small group for students, and no matter your level all students are encouraged to stay and join or listen to the band practice to further develop your familiarity with the music. Social hour is for everyone across the group to spend some time together and hang out, without needing to impact the time we have for practice.

All students will need to eventually purchase their own equipment, but practice chanters, sticks, mallets, and pads are all available to those who would like to try it out before committing. Drums and harnesses are provided for all drummers without their own. Your instructor will work with you and the band to help guide you on what to purchase, where you can purchase, and can answer any questions you have.
