Mac-Tire of Skye Pipes and Drums

Mac-Tire of Skye Pipes and Drums (pronounced "mack-tea-ray") is one of Albuquerque's top performance bagpipe bands.
Established in August 2007, MTS has served our local community and welcomes students who want to learn Scottish bagpipes and drums. While our focus is as a teaching organization, we always welcome experienced musicians to join the ranks!
Mac-Tire of Skye Pipes & Drums is a 501c3 non-profit cultural and educational organization; our goal is to broaden the public's interest in and appreciation for traditional Scottish piping and drumming in the Southwest.
With once a week practices, currently held on the west-side of Albuquerque, and individual private lessons; members of Mac-Tire of Skye have every opportunity to explore different areas of piping and drumming and become successful performers and competitors.
